Flying Fish

FLYING FISH 

 Flying Fish cannot truly fly, but they can leap from the water

and glide above the waves for long distances.

Flying fish are herring like and feed on plankton in tropical seas.

As they break the surface they spread their enlarged pectoral fine and 

soar over the wave in a glide which may extend for many matres.
